How to Measure Your Ring Size

1
Gather your materials

You'll need a thin strip of paper or string, a pen, and a ruler with millimeter markings.

2
Wrap around your finger

Wrap the paper snugly around the base of the finger you intend to wear the ring on. It should be snug but still slide off comfortably.

3
Mark the overlap point

Mark where the paper or string meets with a pen. This gives you the circumference of your finger.

4
Measure in millimeters

Lay the paper flat and measure the length from the end to your mark using a ruler. Note the result in millimeters.

5
Match to the chart

Find your circumference in the table to determine your US ring size. If between sizes, choose the larger.

Pro Sizing Tips

  • Measure at the end of the day — fingers are at their largest.
  • Avoid measuring when cold; fingers can shrink by half a size.
  • For wide bands (6mm+), size up half a size for comfort.
  • If your knuckle is larger than the base, size to fit over the knuckle.

03 — Bracelets

Bracelet Size
Guide

A well-fitted bracelet moves freely on the wrist without sliding off. Follow these steps to find your ideal size.

1
Wrap your wrist

Use a flexible measuring tape or a strip of paper and wrap it snugly around your wrist just below the wrist bone, where you would naturally wear a bracelet.

2
Note the measurement

Mark where the tape or paper meets and measure the length in inches or centimeters. This is your wrist circumference.

3
Add your comfort allowance

Add 0.5" to 1" (1.3–2.5 cm) for a comfortable everyday fit. For a looser, stackable style, add up to 1.5".

4
Match to the chart

Find your final measurement in the size chart to select your bracelet size. If between sizes, choose the larger for comfort.

Fit Types

  • Snug fit: Add 0.5" — sits close to the wrist.
  • Classic fit: Add 0.75" — the most common everyday fit.
  • Stackable fit: Add 1"–1.5" — ideal for layering.
  • Bangles are sized by inner diameter — measure your hand width at its widest point.

Expert Advice

General Sizing
Tips & Guidance

A few things to keep in mind when measuring for any piece of jewelry.

01

Best Time to Measure

Measure your fingers and wrists at the end of the day when they are at their largest. Avoid measuring in cold conditions — fingers can shrink by up to half a size.

02

Layering Necklaces

For a curated layered look, choose lengths at least 2" apart. Start with a choker (14"), add a princess (16"), and a matinee (18") for a classic three-layer stack.

03

When in Doubt, Size Up

If you fall between sizes for any jewelry type, always choose the larger size. Rings can be resized, and bracelets with adjustable clasps offer added flexibility.
